THIS WEEK AT HE GYM: METCON W/C 6/13



Metcon Athletes have a big and heavy week ahead, come prepared!

The Wendler Cycle is drawing to a close, we have a great Benchmark, and another Open workout as well!

Let’s break it down: for the strength, athletes will be hitting week 7 of 9 the strength which means 5 reps at 75%, 3 reps at 85% and 1+ reps at 95% in the bench, deadlift, and Back squat.

For the workouts, an extremely well-rounded week with some movements we don’t see too often like Ring Dips and Single DB Overhead Lunge, but, the Workout of the Week is absolutely going to Friday’s Benchmark re-test RIPCORD

If there was a workout to knock out of the park, it's this one - it iis the perfect chance to put all of our Wendler deadlifting practice, and Murph prep building cobfidence on the pull-up bar and increasing running volume we have been dedicated to the past month.

The only way to absolutely know if we’re improving our fitness is to TEST, and then RETEST - so let’s buckle up, and smash our old times from 10/20/21.
