Open Prep is wrapping up! We’re less than a month away from the Open, have y’all registered yet!?

Metconners still going to be getting after high volume gymnastics, both strict and kip, rope climbs, olympic cycling and plenty of overhead work.

Speaking of which, athletes will be hitting week #5 of 8 for their Overhead Squat cycle progression, 3 sets of 6 reps with the intention of getting a bit heavier than last week.

For the WOW, it’s gotta go to Tuesday’s Benchmark “Punch Out”

FOR TIME 800m Run 30 Thrusters (115/75) 30 Lateral Burpees Over Bar

One time through baby, that means its all gas no brakes (or breaks)!! All movements are juuuust long enough to question whether or not to go 100% all out, but being only one time through, you’re not going to want to finish this workout feeling like you could have pushed a bit harder somewhere. Leave it all on the floor for this one. SEND IT!
