THIS WEEK AT THE GYM: NCX W/C 5/30

NCX’ers have a big week kicking June off!
But before that, congrats to those who tackled their Murph! We’ll definitely take the first day back with a bit lower intensity to get the body moving again, but get ready - it's retesting week.
That's right, it’s the final week - 9 of 9 for our Strength Cycle!
This means athletes will be re-testing those 3 rep maxes in the Deadlift and Bench Press this week. Retests for the Front Squat and Push Jerk will come the following week - we just want to make sure the legs had enough time to recover and rebuild from Murph before getting under those heavy barbells.

9 Slam Balls (30/20)
6 Box Jumps (30/24)
3 Hang Power Cleans (185/135)

Super gritty, grippy workout that’ll be a mix of a sprint-effort style workout.
Moderate Volume with some shorter reps, but a higher box jump and heavier barbell that’ll slow ya down - quick transitions are super important in this one too!
Try to find a pace you can maintain for the first half, then try to pick it up in the back half.
