METCON FAM! Congratulations to those who completed Murph over the weekend. We had some veterans tackle it for their 10th time, and some first timers as well! It’s a mental mountain as well a physical.
With that said, that amount of volume takes some time to recover from, so we’ll try to ease y’all back into some movement and the intensity will pick back up over the week.
For our Strength, we’ve got week #5 of 9 for our Wendler Strength Cycle. This is an important week because athletes will add 5-10lbs to their training max, and then re-run the same cycle again with 3 sets of 5 at 65%, 75% and 85% in their Bench Press, Deadlift and Back Squat.

A little riff on California Love, this workout has a lot of transitions with a high volume of rounds, but a lower number of repetitions, the devil is in the details. If you want a good time on this one, fast transitions are key!
